Reception trip to London Zoo

To help with their topic ‘Animal Safari’, Reception to an amazing trip to London Zoo to see some of the animals they have been learning about in class up close and personal.

The class were so excited to go around the ‘Into Africa’ enclosures where they got the opportunity to see; giraffes, zebras and even got to walk inside the lemur section! 

Later on in the day we were so happy to see the tigers and lions were so visible. The rainforest section was very hot and humid and suited the animals that live there. 

Before we left the children got to get up and close and personal with the butterflies before saying hello to the penguins as they departed!
