Year 4 really got hands on with their topic on the Romans with a trip to the London Mithraeum. The class got the opportunity to visit
The free workshop was facilitated by an experienced educator and saw the pupils become archaeologists by investigating real Roman artefacts. They uncovered stories of the first Londoners, learnt about Roman religion, and experienced the original Temple of Mithras through an immersive light and sound experience.
The children got to handle real Roman artefacts and shared all the knowledge they have already learnt about in their topic lessons.
