As part of their topic on Word War 1 ‘Fallen Fields’ Year 5 went to visit the famous Imperial War Museum to see some primary sources of information about the great war. The children got the opportunity to explore many of the museum’s galleries and handles different artefacts from the time of the war.
The children also got to listen to some of the museum staff who taught that about the different aspects of the First World War such as vehicles, life at home and some of the key figures at the time.
